IMPORTANT NOTE TO GPS AND MAPQUEST USERS: If you enter our address into either one of those programs, please enter it as "1845 Shelby Street, Indianapolis, IN 46203." Do NOT enter it as "South" Shelby Street. There is a glitch in both of those programs that will take you over a mile farther south of our store, down to the area of Troy Avenue and Shelby Street, which is the 3000 South block of Shelby Street. There is NO North Shelby Street in Indianapolis, so entering it WITHOUT the "South" will get you here!

We DO accept CASH. Also, as OF 06/26/2015, WE ACCEPT CREDIT (MC/VISA/DISCOVER/AMERICAN EXPRESS) AND DEBIT CARDS, BOTH WITH A 3.99% SERVICE CHARGE. (I.E. ON A $10.00 ORDER, YOU WOULD PAY 39.9 CENTS IN CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FEES). OUR CREDIT CARD MACHINE ALSO ACCEPTS APPLE PAY.

AS OF OCTOBER, 2021, WE ARE SET UP TO ACCEPT SNAP / EBT CARDS. Split payments are NO problems, to pay for part of a purchase with EBT, and part with cash, or other credit / debit card.

Claus' new South Shelby Street location

We have an Indy Go bus stop right outside our door, Route 22 (Shelby St.). See www.indygo.net for further info and schedules.

We are 3/4 mile SOUTH of the fountain in Fountain Square, on the EAST side of Shelby Street. We are 1/3 mile NORTH of the intersection of Shelby and Raymond Street, right where you can get on & off of I-65. That intersection has a stoplight, on one corner is a White Castle, on another corner is a Safeway, the third corner has a BP gas station, and the last corner there has a CVS. Again, from that intersection, we are 1/3 mile NORTH. Please watch your speed! Shelby is only 30 M.P.H.!

OUR SPECIALTIES: (Beef, pork, veal & lamb products) Homemade German sausage, luncheon meat, fresh & smoked meats. We cure and smoke our own, and do not add any preservatives or fillers! Sorry, no cheese, no fish, and no poultry (except for smoked turkey breast lunchmeat).
